Staff and Training

Occupational Health and Safety is important to us so our drivers are individually trained in our one on one induction program. Each driver receives a minimum of two weeks documented practical experience including practical assessment before they are allowed out on their own.

Our crane induction program is based on the Australian Standard
AS 2550.11–2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches – Safe Use Part 11: Vehicle Loading Cranes.

Our drivers are also instructed on our company policy and are in possession of our company protocol manual on driver safety when operating trucks and truck mounted cranes, which allows them to review any necessary details and report problems.

The “Sabre Transport Company Protocol Manual” also identifies our other policies pertaining to Sexual Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Customer Service Policy, Code of Conduct and Confidentiality.

On a regular basis we conduct ongoing teaching and reviewing seminars which cover a wide variety of subjects such as Occupational Health and Safety, Customer Service, Code of Conduct and other topics deemed to be beneficial in providing the best service possible.

We encourage all our staff to strive for increased knowledge of our industry and continuous improvement via training.

All this ensures that you are provided with the most highly trained individuals in all aspects of your business concerns.
