How do I get a quote?
It’s easy. Our accounts and billing page has a quote/job form.
Simply fill in and fax OR follow the link.

What kind of truck do I need?
Determining what kind of truck you need is important as it effects the cost of transport.
If your goods are heavy and require machinery to lift it on and off a truck then you will need a crane truck.
Crane trucks make it easy to transport heavier goods.
Fill in the job quote form and will contact you with an estimate cost.

What Tonnage can you accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 12 tonne as long as the goods stay within the tray edges.

What geographical regions do you cover?
We cover all of Victoria wide.
Fill in our job form to receive a quote on regional rates.

Do you offer cargo insurance?
If your goods are expensive then we recommend you have cargo insurance.
We can organise this for you at an additional cost.

How do I arrange payment?
We currently accept, cash on delivery or cheque for non account customers and 30 days cheque payment terms via cheque or direct debit for account holders.

How do I fill in a credit application / i.e. open account?
It’s easy. Simply navigate to “Accounts & Billing page” and fill in a credit application form
and fax it to us OR follow the link.

How are our fees calculated?
Sabre transport services are charged on an hourly rate.
Time begins at our depot in Dandenong and ends at our depot in Dandenong.
Our invoices show time taken to transport goods.

Are there any hidden charges?
You can feel safe knowing there are NO surprises with our charges.
Ours is a simply standard rate.

Are there any double time or overtime rates?
You will not be charged if our drivers are delivering goods outside of standard business hours.
You know exactly what bill to expect.

Is there any kilometre charges?
NO – we will not charge you a rate plus a kilometre charge as an extra.

Is there an extra charge for mobile phones?
Our trucks come with mobile phones for emergency contact.
This is included in the quote we give you and is of no extra charge.

Is it extra for E-tags?
No! E-tags are included in the price.

What are your hours of operations?
Our hours of operation are 9.00am to 5.00pm Mon/Fri

Do we do one off small jobs?
Yes of course. Just let us know your needs.

Do you have a forklift to get the items on and off the truck?
It’s convenient using Sabre Transport because with our crane trucks you won’t need
a forklift at either loading or unloading depots.

Can you cater a specialised fleet?
Yes! Catering for a specialised fleet for your product and business is actually our speciality.

Do we need to sign a contract that ties in our business long term?
No, it is not necessary that your business is tied in long term by signing a contract.

If I sign a permanent contract will I be allocated to the same driver?
If you decide to have a specialised fleet for a permanent placement; yes, we can organise for you to have the same driver represent your company.

What cranes do we use?
We are currently updating our fleet and using GAL cranes which have many advantages over previous cranes. Armstrong cranes P/L are our main supplier.

Are you a member of any Association?
Yes, Sabre Transport is a member of the Victorian Transport Association

What items do you move?
Sabre Transport have serviced Victoria for 15 years and in that time we have transported many goods such as timber, steel, machinery, factory moves, water tanks and other tanks.
